Specialized Automotive Services values its customers and all technically feasible steps are taken to protect their privacy. In general, when you visit our web site and access information, you remain anonymous. Personal information from visitors to our web site is collected on a voluntary basis only an explanation is provided as to its use at the time is requested. This collected personal information is used to respond to online queries, supply requested information on Specialized Automotive Services, products and services, ship ordered products, establish approved links, and for internal market analysis. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Our web servers collect the domain names of visitors to our sites. This information is aggregated to determine the number of visits, average time spent on our website, the pages viewed by visitors, and other similar information. New Product Return Policy
- We stand behind our products. If a product is defective, send it back to us within 30 days of shipment and we will replace it.
- The product must be defective, not installed improperly. We will test the product upon receipt, and if it is not defective, no refund will be given and the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges.
- In order to receive a refund for a non-defective product, these minimum requirements must be met:
- We must be notified via phone, e-mail, or fax of the product return. We will then send a RMF (Return Merchandise Form) that must accompany the product.
- The customer will pay freight to return the item, and the original freight charge will not be refunded.
- The return must be made within 30 days of product order.
- The product must not have been installed on a vehicle, dropped, damaged, or dirty, and must be in the original packaging accompanied with a copy of the receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee will apply to inventory items, 30% for special order items.
We reserve the right to edit, add, or delete our return policy at any time. In case of dispute, all efforts will be made to reach a solution that is fair for both parties.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
- All mechanical parts are covered by a one (1) year warranty against NORMAL wear and tear.
- Exceptions:
- Electrical Parts…………30 day warranty.
- Transmission Parts…….60 day warranty.
- All accessories are covered by their respective manufacturers warranty.

SHIPPING POLICY
- Most orders are shipped via UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, or common carrier freight service. Unless specified, we will choose the method of shipment. Most prices quoted online are standard UPS ground shipping. Shipments outside the 48 contiguous states require individual quotes; please call or email us for an accurate quote.
- Although we continually update our website and shipping charges, some quotes received online are inaccurate. We reserve the right to adjust these quotes to the correct amount. We will contact you for approval before any additional shipping charges are added.
- We make every effort possible to ship items the same business day they are ordered (If the order is placed and paid for by 3pm EST). Due to inventory management, availability, order volume, or other factors some orders may take longer to process. Some orders may be drop shipped from our supplier or the manufacturer. In that case, their shipping policies may apply. Your satisfaction is important, and we are continually improving our shipping processes to ensure the best service to you.
- Special order items will take longer to process, the length of time is dependant upon the order.
